There are no advantages other than being close to home.
It is a sheet-metal manufacturing company with only a little over 10 employees. The current owner took over just a few years ago, and most employees' skill levels are not very good.
The company is short on funds, pays salaries late, and does not have many customers. The factory does not keep commonly used steel sheets in stock, while the owner demands shortened lead times, often requiring the drafting staff to work overtime to rush drawings. There are simply too many drawbacks to list them all.
Conclusion: This is not an owner worth following, nor is it a company where you can learn much. Don't expect a high salary either.
