Pros

1. There is no specific uniform requirement, so it is quite relaxed.

2. You take a break when the time comes, and there are five minutes beforehand to put away your tools, so it does not cut into your break.

3. The coworkers get along well and are pleasant to work with.

4. Supervisors generally do not randomly yell at people or behave irrationally.

Cons

1. Overtime is not paid; you are forced to take compensatory leave instead.

2. Although the work is simple, some positions require business trips, and there is actually quite a lot to learn. The requirements are not proportional to the salary.

3. The company benefits are extremely poor, and the salary is nothing special, yet the job requires you to know many things. It feels like once you have those skills, you could switch to a better company. Other companies only require half of what this company expects and offer better pay and benefits. However, it also depends on the person; there is not too much pressure here.

4. The work is basically very dull and repetitive. You do the same few things in the same place, with little sense of accomplishment, but there is also not too much pressure.

5. If you have better professional knowledge or skills, it would be more practical to switch to another company. You have to know a lot but only earn a basic salary. To put it bluntly, you might as well work at a gas station, convenience store, or bubble tea shop.

6. The benefits and salary are still a problem. Although the company calls you an engineer and you have more than two or three years of experience, the salary is still under 40,000. It is actually a rather pathetic small company. The higher-ups have probably swallowed up most of the money. This company is actually quite profitable, but the people below seem not to have much of a salary—not even the managers.

7. The workload is distributed very unevenly. Because this company is under another company, you could also say it is essentially a contractor, so there is a difference in how the parent company and subsidiary are treated. Although they say there is no difference, you can still feel it in practice. The parent company seems to have it easy because it passes all the work to the subsidiary. A lot of work is also distributed very unevenly among the technical, R&D, and warehouse departments. The warehouse staff in particular seem to have it the easiest: they do the work casually, and there are always problems with the quantities and delivery requirements (they even have trouble counting things... worrying). Then they say their backs are injured or that they cannot squat to do the packaging, or avoid carrying things (if you cannot do that, why work in a warehouse?). Anyway, there are many problems with the workload distribution—so many that you wonder why, when you only earn 30,000, you have to do so much for other people.

8. The technical department seems quite idle. Aside from those who travel for work and are busier, you mostly make things, stick them together, and process them like a factory worker. They make the models and so on sound very difficult, but in fact, once you do it enough, there is no real skill involved—anyone with hands can do it. So there is not much sense of accomplishment.

9. It is only a small company, yet there are an absurd number of rules—so many that you can even be fined for getting caught. It is pretty ridiculous. However, basically no one follows them. Presumably, only new employees in their first month bother with those stupid rules; once you see how the veterans ignore them, you realize that as long as you are not caught, nothing happens. If you are caught, just say you forgot and pretend nothing happened. Usually they will not pursue it. After all, the salary is what it is; if they kept catching and fining people, probably no one would want to work here.
