Suitable for people who are highly submissive
1. Extremely high turnover; on average, someone resigns or disappears every three months
2. A family-owned traditional manufacturing business. The owner's son is the plant manager, but he never directs operations on the production side. Managers and production-line employees frequently have mismatched information, with orders constantly changing, causing trouble for the production side
3. Most employees are relatives of the owners or are referred by friends or family members working there. There is a lack of clear procedures, resulting in poor efficiency, and people without influence are bullied
4. The owner and supervisors often ignore production-line dress and hygiene regulations, believing they are above the system. The failure to strictly enforce the rules results in product contamination, after which employees are blamed
5. There are few convenient places to eat nearby, and commuting has become extremely congested since Formosa Plastics moved into the area
6. The company mass-produces and ships products and makes money. Although it has not downsized, it periodically lays off employees or pressures them to resign to save on personnel costs, shifting the work onto other employees. If you refuse, they find ways to make things difficult for you; retaliation is severe
7. The company offers few benefits, and the holiday bonuses are also very small
8. The company employs many migrant workers. They are fairly easy to get along with, but the owner believes migrant workers are cheaper than Taiwanese workers and keeps trying to lay people off
9. They may claim, for various reasons, that they do not provide labor and health insurance
10. Employees on different shifts are not properly supervised. It frequently happens that another shift applies the wrong product labels, leaving others to clean up the mess
