Pros

You can use a company vehicle for business trips. The company vehicles are insured; if you get into an accident and report it to the police, you only need to pay the increased premium resulting from the claim.

The company is close to an MRT station, and no one will rush you out no matter how late you work overtime.

There is a lucky draw at the year-end banquet, although the prizes are getting worse and worse.

A laptop is provided (convenient for monitoring whether sales staff are slacking off).

Cons

1. The company does not stock materials and only accepts scheduled orders, resulting in many lost orders; the profit margins on components are set too high.

2. Apart from Murata, there is no second competitive product line in sight.

3. Employees with more than ten years of seniority who have not had a health check cannot take health-check leave; they must use their own leave to get checked, and the subsidy can only be claimed if a specific format is used.

4. Domestic and overseas travel allowances have both been reduced to just 3,000.

5. The summer vacation policy does not really allow employees to take time off in summer; they still have to bring their laptops abroad.

6. There are supervisors who keep trying to take customers from others (and cannot get promoted).

7. The turnover rate among sales staff is quite high.

8. Once you add up the market reports and weekly reports, there is no time left to visit customers.

9. There are no bonuses for the three major festivals; they even try to save money on the employees’ red wine.

10. Welfare committee activities are merely formalities, and accompanying guests must pay their own expenses.

11. The workplace atmosphere is oppressive and gloomy.

12. They love CCing a large number of people on emails.
