None at all
The boss claims to have graduated from a marketing program in France.
Her way of treating new employees is simply to assign work to you, but she provides no training or even handover. When problems arise, you have to figure them out yourself and solve them by connecting the dots.
On my first day, she asked me to replenish the toilet paper. I asked where the new rolls were kept.
The boss replied: “In the place where this kind of thing would be kept. Think about it and you’ll find it.”
Me: ????
Basically, she responds this way to everything.
Even coming in for a shift and replenishing supplies was extremely stressful.
A real example:
She asked the accountant to issue an invoice for exactly 2,000, but everyone was a new employee and no one knew how to operate the POS machine. While we were spending time figuring it out, the boss eventually angrily snatched the handheld POS machine away, changed the amount to 2,000 within 10 seconds to show us, and tapped the accountant’s head with her knuckles while saying, “Use your brain for something like this. Everyone can do it. Do you use your brain when you work?” (At least 3–4 times.)
The accountant resigned on the spot that day.
The job I applied for was a graphic design internship, but after starting, I was also required to help with the pet-friendly restaurant downstairs: making coffee, preparing ingredients, preparing dishes, and purchasing supplies.
Customers were supposed to come first, but she would also suddenly rush us to produce designs, giving us no time while demanding both quantity and quality.
Relations between colleagues were tense.
Everyone was afraid that the boss would cause trouble for them, so no one dared to help one another.
The workplace was not harmonious.
The boss’s impatience, twisted personality, and distorted values were the only things I took away from this company.
It did not help me gain any workplace experience at all.
During the interview, she will ask how much starting pay you want, then later find reasons to extend the probationary period and cut the pay significantly.
Conclusion: Don’t come here and waste your life.
