The interviewer was very good at making polite small talk. They also asked about the salary at my previous job, then started praising how great our company’s benefits are and so on. They also said that if you join, you have to take things seriously, and if you don’t, they’ll ask you to leave. But if they weren’t planning to hire me, why say all that? Finally, they confirmed that my email address was correct and said they would email me afterward. Hilarious—left me speechless.
