If you know how to PLP the boss, that is an advantage.

People who leave usually carry some inner conflict, resentment, and bitterness with them.

Especially when you work seriously and diligently as a coder,

yet still cannot rise as quickly as those who know how to paint rosy pictures and boast about visions, it leaves you with very mixed feelings.

1. They do not respect expertise, and managers like listening to rumors.

2. The architecture is chaotic. Cloud VMs are compromised and used as mining machines every few days, yet they still do not hurry to strengthen information security.

3. The CEO appoints himself CTO. When faced with technical expertise, he says you are deliberately avoiding his topic. In his mind, there are only two options: do as told or get lost.

4. Parachuted managers at this company will not earn their subordinates’ respect, because they have already formed their own little clique. If you cannot break into that clique, you are simply choosing a dead end.

5. This company has already reached the embarrassing point of being unable to recruit professionals because of its extremely poor reputation in the industry and very low salaries. People with planning or business experience can switch over to work here as PMs, and as long as they know how to exploit engineers, PMs get promoted even faster than coders. You can therefore feel that expertise is not needed here—only the ability to PLP and paint rosy pictures.
