The work environment is good.
A very old-fashioned, traditional Japanese corporate management style. The senior executives are all around 60 and strongly dislike change. The company’s management is still stuck 30 years in the past, with piles of paperwork and signatures required for everything. Managers only know how to exploit subordinates and shirk responsibility, happily taking high salaries without shouldering any responsibility.
Employee education and training? Basically nonexistent. Talented people are only tied down and not given room to perform. Managers make judgments about people and matters solely based on their personal likes and dislikes, and are completely incapable of making objective judgments from the perspective of the company and management.
The offices in the north and south operate independently, and they jointly bully the young Japanese president. The people are awful.
The pay is relatively low, and the company is generally on a downward slope. I do not recommend wasting your youth at this company.
