If you want candidates with experience, HR should screen the résumés properly before inviting them.

Don't make people go through great trouble and travel a long way, only to say afterward that experience is required.

When I asked why I was invited to interview even though my résumé didn't mention experience,

they said my personality traits matched the position, but then also said experience was still required.
