The Longtan production line is an otherworldly place, with a new factory building, a clean environment, and employee meals.
The Longtan production line is an otherworldly place. There is no technical knowledge to speak of. To learn anything, you also have to make small talk and gossip for X people to hear. They teach you when they feel like it and refuse to teach you when they do not. In the end, when some people who cannot stand it teach you, things become serious once X people find out. Whenever a machine breaks down and you go to ask X people, the first thing they say is, “Why did you move or touch things randomly?” It is truly baffling. During repairs, they always send you away, and after the problem is resolved, they do not tell you why the machine broke down. In the end, all you learn is how to start the machine and produce, then shut it down when production ends. From time to time, you are assigned non-machine-related packaging work and have to fill out a pile of reports. When you make a mistake, the person managing the reports appears beside you with an X-face and does not tell you what was wrong—you have to find it yourself. What the heck!
They constantly target and make things difficult for people who belong to the wrong faction, and occasionally spread a pile of rumors to make people prejudge who is bad. In the end, people become disheartened and leave the company. It happens in an endless cycle. Some of those who have not left the company are already dead inside; they quietly do their work and avoid trouble whenever possible. There is no prospect for development at all.
As long as your hands and feet work, you do not talk back, and you do not have ideas of your own, you can work there until retirement without a problem. But if you have ideas, talk back, and do not equip yourself with the Longtan production line’s otherworldly system’s SSR skills (having a sweet mouth, knowing how to flatter people, and digging up secrets to report), then I advise you to think carefully before applying.
