The base salary for the position is higher than the going market rate, and you are required to have your own passenger car for commuting.
At the beginning, you are expected to familiarize yourself with the products, but the company does not provide formal training. Instead, you are simply left to look through the sample books and finished products at the company.
You must accompany the boss on visits to clients. The boss treats employees extremely poorly, especially when you are driving for him. His everyday attitude toward employees is also very bad. He will not tell you in advance what you will be doing; tasks are usually assigned at very short notice, making it completely impossible to prepare ahead of time.
You need to have a strong mindset, mainly because the boss is genuinely very difficult to work with. There were two salespeople who went with me in total. I resigned after working for only one month, and the other salesperson also left after holding on for another two weeks. The other accountant worked there for a year before leaving as well. From visiting clients, I learned that this company has an extremely high turnover rate, replacing its sales staff almost every month. To the boss, salespeople are treated disrespectfully, as if they were disposable supplies.
