Performance is performance; people who don't do any work can just pad the numbers and still meet the target... making the whole system meaningless.
People who work seriously go unnoticed... and, comparatively, people who slack off, shirk, and cut corners also go unnoticed... There was a pay raise this May~~ someone who had worked here for 9 years didn't get a raise, while someone who had worked for less than a year did... One department is only busy for a few months a year and is idle for about 8 months of the year otherwise. That's how idle they are—wandering around all day pretending to be busy... fiddling with this and that... otherwise going to other departments to chat with the people operating the machines. Yes, I'm talking about you!
