Bored out of my mind
The IT department is full of people who have been here for 20–30 years.
They are unwilling to accept new changes in information technology, and their abilities are generally poor.
They place more importance on chatting, showing off, and Costco group purchases.
They do not respect expertise, yet still expect others to handle things and train them.
There are many affiliated companies, with lots of infighting; when there is nothing to do, they pretend there is.
The environment is old and run-down. The water dispenser often has a strange smell, water accumulates on the floor, and an external bidet toilet seat was awkwardly installed in the restroom.
For training, they show introductory videos. Between each video, Wangwang sounds are played, along with their own corporate song and health exercise dance. It feels like a brainwashing convention. At least there are Wangwang snacks.
