But first, ask yourself whether you can withstand

being pressured by the seniority system.

New hires must bear the pressure of meeting sales targets.

They expect you to sell in a direct-sales-like manner,

pressuring customers so they cannot talk back.

To put it nicely, it’s a standardized system that requires you to do things their way.

Although performance is measured as a team,

the way everyone competes for sales

will make you think you’re working at a luxury boutique

(when it’s not a luxury boutique at all).

You even have to buy your own toilet paper and supplies.

Any mistake, no matter how minor, could result in a fine.

(They will do everything they can to fine you.)

Oh,

and there’s also overtime pay.

Their motto is:

“People who work overtime are simply incapable of finishing their work within working hours.”

Other than new product launches, for which you can report overtime

(and still need the store manager’s approval),

everything else is basically volunteer work :)
