The CTO is very knowledgeable and understands a wide range of technologies. The conversation was also very relaxed and pressure-free.
Even when I was asked questions I didn’t understand during the interview, the CTO patiently answered and explained them, making it feel like an interview packed with valuable insights.
I went through a total of three interview stages.
The test questions were extremely detailed, which made me feel that the compensation at this company should be quite good if I were able to get in.
They were really that detailed—I’m confident that even a senior candidate might not necessarily be able to answer them all.
During the interview, the founder also asked about my expected salary.
As stated on the platform: 50,000–80,000 per month.
For someone without a relevant academic background who wants to change careers, the salary might seem fairly good.
But in reality, that isn’t the case. Even if you successfully receive an offer,
it won’t even reach the lowest figure of 50,000.
And the gap is quite substantial.
It really makes you wonder why the salary is listed that way on the platform,
and what the point of asking about expected salary is.
So if you have a certain level of confidence in yourself, the salary listed on the platform should really only be treated as a reference.
Also, interview results usually take a few business days, so we generally expect that we might not receive notification about moving on to the next stage so quickly.
However, this company sent the interview results quite fast. For example, I might have finished the interview in the afternoon and received the result 10 minutes later.
It makes you wonder whether your abilities are truly that good or whether the company is really desperate for people.
So if you want to gain interview experience, you can give it a try.
