There were two interviews in total. During the first interview, I only spoke with the manager of that department (the Personal Computer Power Supply Business Division). I had a good impression of the manager, who was fairly polite when asking questions.
1. When arranging the second interview, HR said that the general manager in charge of the business division was away on a business trip, so they couldn't coordinate a time and I would have to wait. I ended up waiting for a month. When we finally scheduled a time, the absurd part came: after I arrived on-site, they told me that the general manager was stuck in a meeting and couldn't attend, so colleagues from another group would conduct the interview instead. I waited a month for this general manager, only to never meet them in the end? This showed absolutely no respect for job applicants!!
2. Once the second interview actually began, I found that the other colleagues from the business division were extremely rude. They mistook having no manners for being serious; their attitudes were condescending and their tone was impolite, and they kept interrupting. The questions they asked also showed that they hadn't read the applicant's résumé at all—they had simply called someone in to berate them.
3. HR had no say whatsoever and did not select the right candidates based on their résumés. For example, I graduated from a foreign languages department, and the business division I interviewed with clearly also had a Europe and Americas group, yet they asked me to interview with the Japanese group instead. Is HR just randomly shooting in the dark 😃?
In summary: If you are going to interview at Delta Electronics, you need to be mentally prepared to deal with managers who are self-important and have no manners. They may also make you wait a long time without notifying you of the result, or you may not even get to meet the top manager 😀 The whole thing is just ridiculous!
