1. It’s really convenient to buy meals in the industrial park.
2. The boss and the boss’s wife only come into the company shortly before closing time.
//I was hired as a graphic designer//
1. Basically, the workload is very heavy. When you have two promotional materials on hand, they will become four by the next day. If you don’t work overtime or take the work home, you simply won’t be able to finish it.
2. Even before a new product arrives, you are expected to somehow produce the written descriptions and other materials for it. As soon as the new product arrives, the boss’s wife will immediately ask whether it has been uploaded yet.
3. The boss’s opinions and the boss’s wife’s suggestions are different, so you have to communicate with them separately and report your work content and progress to each of them.
4. They always monopolize your time when you are about to get off work to discuss work with you, and sometimes even expect you to work overtime.
Summary: Graphic design takes time, but the boss will complain that you work too slowly. Communication is useless and ineffective because he thinks what he says makes perfect sense. The boss’s wife is impatient and wants everything done in a hurry. There is no real work process or planning. Generally speaking, e-commerce companies need to hire at least two graphic designers. They initially told me they would hire two or three graphic designers, but after I had been there for two months, I was still the only one. In the end, I was still laid off. No matter how hard or carefully you work, the boss will simply say that you are too slow and criticize you for not being capable enough.
Additional note: I witnessed my predecessor become so exhausted that they needed to see a psychiatrist. If you want to maintain your mental and physical health, I sincerely advise you not to come here!!
Don’t become the next victim.
