The individual is employed as a part-time student worker at the Kaohsiung branch of Hung Tai Life Insurance. The company is small, with few employees, and the environment is simple.
There are a great many drawbacks: precisely because the company is small and has few employees, it directly treats student workers as full-time employees; to put it nicely, the manager says that anyone can learn new things, but then assigns student workers the duties of full-time security and policy-change positions, using the minimum student-worker wage to do full-time security work that pays NT$35,000. They are really saving the company too much money!
They neither convert student workers to full-time employees nor increase their pay, while there is so much work that overtime is required. At one point, I seriously wondered whether I was a student worker or a full-time employee.
The company has an extremely high turnover rate. I think you will have better options.
