Honestly, there isn't much to say. Some colleagues are nice, but the environment is awful. Who would want to cook food with a strong smell at the place where they work? It was really unbearable. I personally couldn't handle it. It's also a small company, but it's actually quite chaotic.
There are quite a lot of drawbacks. The work environment at the company really isn't very good. When I first went in, I thought it was some kind of warehouse or something. I actually wondered at the time, “Is this the place?” It hardly looks like an office at all—the whole environment feels dark and gloomy. More importantly, when I had just arrived, I thought they should have told me where to put the images or where the folders were. This male PM only replied, “I don't know where it is~~” What exactly is he pretending to be so helpless about? If you send a new employee a request, how would they know where things are? If you've been doing this for so long and still don't know where things are, then what are you doing? I also had no idea what he was actually busy with, because he is very good at talking and rationalizing his own matters to others, without considering other people's perspectives. Anyway, all I could do at the time was smile awkwardly and wonder whether it would be terrible to have to coordinate things with him afterward. The key point is that he said no one works overtime, but I saw everyone working overtime except him—he would leave promptly at five. The boss also trusts him a lot. In addition, their PM tries to save on other expenses, which results in many things being handled poorly. It feels as though he can decide everything. He says he isn't a supervisor, but he acts very much like he wants to be one; for many things, he simply tells other people to do them. As for the boss himself, he is really bad at managing time and has no basic manners. Don't other people's time matter? Is only yours important? He was late to interviews, made other people or vendors wait for meetings, and was even late for meals. Time management is basic courtesy. Even if you're going to be late, you should at least let people know! Also, I often heard employees being yelled at there. His temper is terrible, and he seemed to yell loudly so that everyone would know. Once, I thought it was extremely over the top. They sometimes allow people to eat in the store (Hung Rui Chen), and he yelled at an internal employee in front of customers, frightening the customers away. Do you really think that was appropriate? Again, he yelled loudly enough for many people to hear. Can't you control your volume? Disrupting others also affects their working environment. I heard it far too often—seriously, don't doubt it. He acted as if, whenever the company made money, he would share it with everyone, but I don't think that would actually happen. He also doesn't listen to what you think about many things; he only follows what he wants. The gap is enormous. So if you're thinking of going there, really think it over—it's a typical exploitative boss.
