I submitted my résumé at 2 p.m. and received an interview invitation by 5 p.m., so the response time was fairly quick.
The manager’s attitude was extremely casual. The phone display initially showed the CommonWealth Magazine switchboard number, but after answering, I found out it was the manager personally. We had a brief phone interview in which they simply asked about my current job and background, but it felt like they were forcing the conversation (pretending to understand things they actually didn’t), which was quite baffling.
Later, because I received an offer from another job, I emailed to cancel the interview. Two hours after the scheduled interview time, the manager called and immediately berated me. It was incredibly baffling—they hadn’t even checked their email and still called to complain, which was extremely rude. Chen 00, the manager of the digital department, is this person.
