After the interview, they have you shadow a current employee for a day to experience the actual work. It’s somewhat interesting, I suppose.
There is no further screening when scheduling the interview; basically, anyone whose résumé is opened will receive a notification.
After arriving for the interview, it was a group interview with a large number of people. It was obvious that those managers had not even read our résumés. They first tried to brainwash us into accepting some strange rules. The most outrageous part was when they deliberately asked, “Do you think the company should provide the voice recorder, or should you buy it yourself?” Most people there thought the company should provide it. After asking that, they started talking a bunch of nonsense, saying things like, “If you buy it, you can achieve personal growth,” and “If the company provides it and you break it, the company won’t be able to afford the compensation.” In short, they wanted us to buy it ourselves. Having to spend a chunk of money before even starting work is a pretty bizarre practice. Honestly, if a company cannot even afford voice recorders, how dare it offer high salaries? If it cannot afford them, it should stop pretending.
Finally, regarding the work-experience portion after the interview, the high salary they advertise is completely fake. Customer service technicians do not merely perform repairs; whenever they visit a customer, they also have to sell them machines and filter cartridges, and everything must be recorded. It is obvious that the high salary depends on your sales performance. As for how high the performance target must be, presumably that is entirely up to the boss. There is no protection whatsoever.
In conclusion, this company simply keeps recruiting new people to sell its machines for low pay. If you manage to make a sale, they count it as a bonus; afterward, they can casually find a reason to say you are unsuitable and send you packing. Don’t waste your time.
