There’s a thin woman who has worked there for a long time and is not very noticeable 🙄
She has no patience when training new employees. She said that some companies on the company list should be handled with tax refunds by check, while the others should use a bank account. After I finished filing the taxes, she checked them and said that several companies not on the check-refund list were supposed to receive refunds by check, then asked why I hadn’t asked her!?
I said I thought that anything not on the list was supposed to use an account for the refund. She then looked very annoyed and said, “Don’t assume.”
I could only apologize at the time, but the more I thought about it afterward, the more inexplicable it seemed. She was the one who said that everything on the list used check refunds, so wouldn’t everything else use an account? 🙄
After that, whenever she saw me, she started making a face like a pile of crap. She would also ignore my questions and said that I wasn’t showing an enthusiastic attitude. This was completely workplace bullying 🙃
The company is located in a residence and has fewer than 10 employees. When I reported it to HR, they insisted that the woman with the crappy expression wasn’t bullying me because they had a very good relationship. I really needed to get out of there quickly 🙃
