It is essentially a family business. There is a break room and someone cleans the restroom. You can use the microwave, toaster oven, rice cooker, and refrigerator.
There is air conditioning. At the beginning, you are given the company’s work guidelines. There are only about five people in the company.
The salary is paid early.
The scheduled lunch break is an hour and a half, but I never actually got the full hour and a half. You have to buy lunch for the supervisor first, then go to the bank after eating. You also have to help pay bills, credit card fees, and so on. There is only one supervisor, but because no one has replaced the person in that position for a long time, in simple terms, the supervisor has the most power.
Because it is a family business, you are responsible for miscellaneous tasks for more than one company. Some of them are complicated, and after you join, more and more tasks will be assigned to you.
However, the supervisor is extremely impatient. If you make the same mistake a second time, you will be reprimanded, and then the supervisor will turn around and say it is also because they did not teach you properly.
The supervisor is a lot like a relative. They show concern for you in their own way, but being the object of that concern is very uncomfortable. The supervisor once showed the contents of a conversation to other forum users. Quite a few people felt that the supervisor was acting like a PUA or a toxic, frightening partner, but basically, they really are just like the annoying relative you have to deal with during Lunar New Year.
The driver and the boss are nice, but the supervisor keeps talking about what previous assistants were like and comparing you with them.
