The colleagues at the Tainan service office were easy to get along with.
It was probably because we had a common enemy.
At the time, I worked as a designer at the service office in Yongkang, Tainan.
I was responsible for handling the orders received by the Tainan business manager.
After completing the designs, I sent them back to the manager in Kaohsiung for review.
However, basically, I learned absolutely nothing from this job.
I only got to see the disgusting side of the Tainan business manager.
For example, back then we still used a traditional punch clock.
This manager drove a company car to and from work every day,
but I had no idea whether he was seriously out doing business.
Basically, during the eight hours a day, the only time you could see him was during the lunch break.
Even though he went home to rest after 5 p.m.,
he returned to the company at 7 p.m. to adjust the punch clock and fraudulently claim overtime pay. Utterly shameless.
Later, because this manager’s relative was going to come work there,
I was laid off after working for only one year.
I passed by there some time ago, and it seemed that the Tainan service office had already closed down.
Good riddance.
