喬斐塑膠實業股份有限公司
Pros

Pros

Basically no overtime

30 minutes of lateness allowance per month

After completing one year, there is a year-end bonus (not much)

Cons

1. Labor Standards Act regulations are not properly implemented (e.g., effectively no annual leave, and problems with the old leave system)

If you take more than one day of leave within two weeks, the wages for the holidays during both weeks will also be deducted

(This also applies without exception when workers take government-mandated isolation leave after testing positive)

This is equivalent to working an entire week for nothing. The boss’s response is that taking more than one day off means you have made no contribution to the company.

None of this is stipulated in writing; the boss simply makes up the calculations.

2. The salary structure is opaque, and the actual amount received differs greatly from the amount stated during the interview.

Yet the salary reported for labor and health insurance is based on the interview amount.

(The base salary is NT$22,500, plus various miscellaneous fees—"these fees are only calculated based on the actual number of days worked."

Even if you work properly and complete all your duties, you still cannot receive the salary reported after joining the company.)

3. Poor environment: dirty and disorderly, with especially large numbers of dust, rats, fleas, mosquitoes, and other insects.

4. No resources are provided; you have to bring your own work supplies. The company does not even provide a single sheet of toilet paper.

5. Wages are often deducted without reason under various unjustified pretexts.

6. No bonuses for the three traditional festivals.

7. The position you are hired for may differ from the position advertised in the interview, and the salary is also not the same as discussed.

8. The rules are not put in writing and are not formally stipulated. Everything happens only after your wages have already been deducted, when various unreasonable rules and justifications appear. These are all communicated verbally as “the boss said.”

9. A female supervisor surnamed Chen is discriminatory and has emotional-control issues. She harasses subordinates in various ways through psychological, physical, and verbal bullying.
