Because there is no Hicks Co., Ltd. listed under Liuzhiyuan, I’m leaving a review here.
The interview was conducted by video, and it was also possible to schedule an evening interview.
The first interview was with HR, who looked like Tia Ray. She mainly introduced the job and salary, which gave me a pretty good impression. It also felt like it would be fairly easy to get a second interview as long as you said you wanted one.
The interview result came out very quickly. I received the rejection email just two hours after the interview.
The second interview was with the sales manager, who looked like Brother Tuo Ye and had quite a lot of facial hair. During the interview, he spent 90% of the time looking at the screen and typing on the keyboard. The camera was placed near his monitor, so I don’t know whether he was interviewing me while working.
The manager gave me the impression that he wanted a salesperson with experience, but HR still invited an inexperienced person like me to interview.
The manager also asked how much I knew about their company’s products and what their work involved.
I feel that as long as your answers to these two questions didn’t satisfy him, you were rejected.
In short, the manager gave the impression that you had to understand well what telemarketing involves. He would not proactively explain the job’s details or the experience required.
