No advantages

I applied for position A, but received a call from HR saying that after reviewing my résumé, they thought I was a better fit for one of their other positions.

I asked, “What position would that be?” but HR couldn’t answer and only said that many departments were hiring. They would first ask me to take a written test and then determine which position suited me before assigning me to one of them. Does the HR department really think it’s God, deciding which position job seekers are suited for? We should be the ones choosing which position to interview for. If you don’t want me for the position, then just say so!

Also, for a job with a starting salary of 26,400, they said the interview process would take three hours and that I needed to prepare transcripts of my university grades from previous years and take a written test. I graduated many years ago and live in another county. When I mentioned that I might not have my transcripts anymore, the HR representative told me to look for them at home or go back to my university to apply for them. Do they really think everyone has all the time in the world? The school, household registration address, and mailing address are not even in the same area! In short, I canceled the interview because I didn’t want to waste my valuable time.
