The interviewers were quite friendly, answered my questions thoughtfully, and did not have a bad attitude. After completing the computer-based test, I was taken across the street to interview with someone I presume was the boss’s wife or a higher-level manager.

They then began explaining the salary offered for the position (which included perfect-attendance pay). The work experience they initially required applicants to provide was apparently just for show; having more extensive experience would not lead to negotiation for a higher salary range. I was also deliberately reminded that the graphic designer position was based on a responsibility system. At first, the young woman explained that, since the clients were primarily restaurants and hotels, support might be needed on weekends. I will not comment further on the work location, but it was very clear that arriving punctually and precisely at this remote company was the most basic requirement. Working hours were from exactly 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and they said that everything else followed the Labor Standards Act.
