An absolutely terrible interview experience. The interviewer was a middle-aged woman with long, curly hair.
1. I arrived ahead of the agreed-upon time, but the interviewer still failed to show up on time. This was incredibly disrespectful to the interviewee. Being punctual is a basic form of respect, isn’t it? Where are the principles?
2. Every word was condescending: “Is your English good enough? Our English is very difficult.” It was extremely uncomfortable.
The 104 résumé was not seriously reviewed either. Although my qualifications were clearly stated, the interviewer kept criticizing my previous work experience and repeatedly emphasized, “Can your English really handle it?”
If the company already knew that I did not meet its standards for talent, why invite me to an interview in the first place? Isn’t other people’s time valuable too?
In short, if anyone wants to be reprimanded, disrespected, and have their time wasted, feel free to interview at this company!
