You’ll get scolded for using your phone during the 30-minute meal break. They’ll tell you to hurry up and finish eating so you can get back to work, and if you keep using your phone, they’ll say it affects your performance. You usually get 8 days off per month, but taking leave on holidays is generally prohibited. If something comes up, they’ll make you sign a form requiring you to work, saying they’ll pay overtime later anyway. They’ll pressure you with performance bonuses and sales targets. The staff are all older people who can’t leave; there are no young people who stay here.
