Equipment: MacBook, 27-inch monitor, ergonomic chair, open-plan office, dart machine
Benefits: Coffee machine, snacks (less than before), drinks (less than before), afternoon tea (no longer provided), team gatherings (no longer held), health checkups, book allowance
Colleagues focus on the work rather than the person and are easy to communicate with. Flexible starting and finishing times; no clocking in or out required. Saturday make-up work does not require a make-up day. Raised a large amount of funding in Series A. High salaries. I heard that after the pandemic, WFH will eventually be changed back to working in the office. The product has stable development (?)
The biggest drawback is probably that you might be structurally laid off after working there for a while. If that doesn't scare you, go for it.
Leaving on the same day is very American-style. There is a generous layoff package. Great.
Basically, it's a responsibility-based system. Little overtime, with no overtime pay.
