Equipment: MacBook, 27-inch large monitor, ergonomic chair, open-plan office, dart machine
Perks: coffee machine, snacks (fewer now), drinks (fewer now), afternoon tea (no longer provided), team gatherings (no longer held), health checkups, book subsidy
Colleagues communicate well and focus on the work rather than the person. Flexible working hours with no clocking in or out. No make-up work required for working Saturdays. Raised a large amount of funding in Series A. High salaries. After the pandemic, WFH is reportedly going to be changed back to working in the office. The product has stable development (?)
The biggest drawback is probably that you might be structurally laid off after working there for a while. If that doesn't scare you, go for it.
Leaving the same day is very American-style. There is a severance package—great.
Basically, it's a responsibility-based system. Little overtime, with no overtime pay.
