Equipment: MacBook, 27-inch monitor, ergonomic chair, open-plan office, dart machine
Benefits: coffee machine, snacks (less than before), drinks (less than before), afternoon tea (no longer available), team meals (no longer available), health checkups, book allowance
Colleagues communicate well and focus on the work rather than the person. Flexible start and finish times with no clocking in or out. No need to make up hours for working Saturdays. The Series A raised a large amount of funding. High salaries. I heard that after the pandemic, WFH will eventually be changed back to working in the office. The product has stable development (?)
The biggest drawback is probably that you might be structurally laid off after working there for a while. If that doesn’t scare you, go for it.
Leaving on the same day is very American-style. There’s a generous layoff package. Great.
Basically, it’s a responsibility-based system. Little overtime, with no overtime pay.
