The company is near an MRT station, so commuting is convenient.
HR was somewhat serious, but provided a complete introduction to the company and the position.
The interviewer was very good at cutting salaries, saying that lowering my expected salary would give me a chance to make it to the second interview. In the end, even after cutting it, I still received a rejection letter. They were probably using candidates to find out their salary expectations as part of their performance. It’s laughable that such a large company can’t even afford to pay experienced employees properly. I can only laugh at myself for taking it too seriously…
For those going to an interview, I recommend standing firm on your salary expectations and not letting the interviewer trick you.
