Interview: My interview experience with Yifan Technology was very good. Both the HR representatives and managers I spoke with were able to view work requirements more from a technical professional’s perspective. The work here is different from being a regular employee at a client company, and is better suited to experienced technical professionals like us who want to discuss the job responsibilities and salary expectations in detail.

If you have less experience or lack self-discipline, you may feel somewhat hesitant about interviewing for this type of on-site assignment.

Work: Since I have around 20 years of experience in information technology, I have higher expectations when choosing an on-site assignment. On the one hand, I need to be able to handle the technical work; on the other, there must be learning resources that allow me to grow. I also value being able to share my successful experiences with team members throughout different project engagements. I consider this a work model with good interaction. With this type of work arrangement, you can avoid a lot of interpersonal friction and focus on demonstrating your technical abilities. Technical enthusiasts will gain more from it; however, it may not be suitable for those who simply want a stable job with regular hours. Sometimes on-site projects have tight schedules, while others are more relaxed; it varies.

However, you can meet excellent and outstanding colleagues on different project teams. This is a priceless benefit, and you may even find partners with whom you can start a business in the future.

Drawback: I believe this type of on-site assignment is not suitable for less experienced colleagues or people with low self-discipline to join.
