If you have even a little ambition, remember that as long as you win over the boss’s trusted aide, you are guaranteed a smooth ride at this company. No one will stand in the way of your promotion, because your supervisor will help pad your performance figures.

Keep these key points in mind, and this really is a company where you can live comfortably until retirement.

But there are still a few warnings to give.

The supervisors here are all fairly senior. Sometimes, when people stay in a comfortable environment for too long, they inadvertently become frogs in a well. Their so-called vision is actually just standing still, because the boss is quite reluctant to invest money.

In their eyes, whatever they think is right is right. There are no real standards at the company; double standards are standard practice among the supervisors here. They are often emotional and may even resort to personal attacks. Supervisors make empty promises and paint beautiful pictures, but when something goes wrong, they make the people below them clean up the mess.

The workday is 8 hours and 15 minutes. There is no overtime pay for the extra 15 minutes. Sales staff need to provide their own computers, and after joining, they also have to provide their own stationery and other supplies. Monthly fuel costs can be too high, so employees absorb them themselves to avoid being hassled by the boss. This is basically how employees help the company cut costs.
