珍葳貴金屬有限公司
Pros

Easygoing people

The company often provides drinks and occasionally holds group meals

There are bonuses for the three major holidays

Colleagues are willing to mentor others

Cons

1. The year-end bonus is not much.

2. The division of responsibilities is unclear, and the systems are unclear as well.

Pay slips are only provided if you proactively request them.

You do not need to keep a work log normally, but management occasionally asks about your progress.

If they are dissatisfied with your progress, they will reject it outright.

3. Communication requires some adjustment.

This is probably the same everywhere; I was just not used to the way they spoke: “Do you think the colors are the same?” “Don’t you think it looks strange?” “Do you think this fits the brand style?”

4. The junior and senior managers do not communicate with each other about the work of the employees under them.

As a result, neither side knows what the others are working on.

Therefore, it is better to proactively report on your own work.

5. The team is small (five people). I do not understand why there is still a problem like the one described in point 4.

6. You are required to shovel animal feces and clean the toilets (five cats and two rabbits).

7. Perhaps this is just my personal experience: if they felt my design style was unsuitable, they should have let me go during the probationary period instead of dragging it out for half a year.

It wasted both our time.

When dismissing someone, they always shift the problem back onto the job seeker.

8. If they are dissatisfied with your design, after having you revise it repeatedly, they will eventually give up on you and hand it over to another colleague. They will not tell you; you will only find out when you see that colleague’s screen and realize they are working on the same thing as you.

This is quite disrespectful.

All I can say is that the value of graphic design in Taiwan is gradually becoming lower than that of administrative work.

Unless you have other forms of output, whenever a company downsizes, pure design work is the first to be cut.
