Nothing to look forward to

What a ridiculous company. They kept saying the approval process was underway, then changed their story and said it was held up because of staffing budget issues. It’s all complete nonsense. If they have no intention of hiring, they shouldn’t string people along. I’ve never encountered a company like this.
