Pros

The salary is considered high for a marketing position, and the boss was fairly generous when negotiating the salary initially.

The coworkers are very nice and help one another. Occasional private get-togethers are also enjoyable.

The workplace is conveniently located and easy to get to by public transportation.

Cons

According to the 2017 reviews, the company had around 50 employees… Currently, it has fewer than 10.

Because there are so few employees and the turnover rate is high, the job duties are very diverse.

The latest review of this company is from 2019, and the earliest is from 2017, but many of the problems have not changed.

1. The boss is self-important. To elaborate, besides thinking they know a great deal about programming, marketing, or any of the company’s operations, they also like to take the opportunity to put employees down.

2. Management is chaotic, with decisions constantly changing. The boss often adds work at the last minute, usually when it is already an emergency, which results in overtime. The schedule is treated as if it were both written and unwritten, but the boss still insists that it be completed and even threatens to deduct pay over it.

3. Whatever the boss says goes, and employees are forced to take on multiple roles.

4. Employees are sometimes called back for meetings after work hours.

5. Even after the boss has reviewed, and sometimes approved, and the item has been submitted, it still has to be revised again—or the boss has no recollection of it.

6. The computer equipment is outdated and lacks sufficient memory; every laptop has some kind of problem.

7. The boss claims to be able to communicate, but in reality is completely unable to communicate and even labels employees because of it.

8. Employees with severe colds are forced to come to work, while employees who test positive are told to work from home.

9. Employees who have worked for less than a year do not receive a year-end bonus.
