None at all
So it turns out I’m not the only one who thinks this is outrageous. I only worked there for one week before they told me to sign a resignation form. They asked me to state my reason for leaving and said the company would assess whether there was a suitable position for me. They said that if I didn’t receive a call from the company within three days, it meant there wasn’t one. At the time, I didn’t think much of it, and since I had never encountered this kind of situation before, I foolishly signed it. I wasn’t able to ask them for proof of involuntary termination. During that week, I completed all the tasks assigned to me by the boss’s assistant. The only thing I didn’t do well was the reconciliation form, and that was it. Even now, after leaving, I still find the whole thing completely baffling. What exactly did I do poorly? No matter how inadequate I was, they couldn’t possibly determine whether someone was suitable based on just one week, right?!!!
Also… the part about wearing short skirts is true. No one ever leaves work on time either; everyone stays behind to work overtime. = =
