This is a contractor for Chunghwa Telecom. Basically, the benefits are so poor that they could hardly be worse. If you work on installation crews that travel to different locations, you have to pay all your own transportation, water, and meal expenses. Your working hours depend entirely on your own skill: finish early and you can leave early. Most importantly, the pay is calculated per job—the more you do, the more you earn. There is no guarantee; if you cannot complete even one job in a day, you will have to go hungry. So how much you earn entirely depends on your own ability. Since the pay is piece-rate, there is no need to talk about year-end bonuses or the three holiday bonuses. That is all for the installation-crew side.
Next is the administrative side, especially inventory management. It can be described as suffering on top of suffering. First, you have to collect the materials, initially facing difficulties from Chunghwa Telecom staff, and then wait until the evening to distribute the materials to the technicians. Distribution alone is not enough—you also have to manage the materials. In addition to managing the materials in your own possession, you must also control the materials held by the technicians. If the records show that a technician still has too many pieces of equipment on their account, you cannot issue more to them, which leads to another round of disputes.
Therefore, people who are not mentally strong are not advised to enter this line of work.
The most important point is that this company's income comes from the money earned by the installation technicians. The more jobs the technicians complete, the more the company earns. Therefore, basically, the boss does not dare do much to the technicians, let alone manage them.
