- Remote “Work Life Balance”: Accustomed to working remotely
After I submitted the take-home assignment, they gave me the extremely disrespectful “silent treatment.” Later, when I emailed to ask about the final result, they only replied with a canned rejection email. I don’t think this reflects an attitude that respects interviewees. If they weren’t looking to hire at this stage, they shouldn’t ask people to “write an assignment” to optimize the responsive design of their product, only to then give them the silent treatment. It makes people wonder whether there was some other motive.
