There are no performance bonuses, yet you’re expected to improve your performance. Performance targets are basically inflated at random, so they’re not easy to achieve. An annual raise? Dream on—you have to look at performance. If you’re not part of the fat-cat circle, you basically can’t make any money; you can only watch helplessly as they throw their weight around and act shamelessly (just like the privileged elite). Basically, you have to figure out how to handle everything yourself. The company’s main responsibility seems to be constantly auditing, assigning blame, and punishing internal employees. If customers make things difficult for you, that’s your problem. Resigning requires going through a whole series of procedures, and they won’t let you leave easily.
