The work environment is tidy, everyone is easy to get along with, working hours are punctual, the workplace is clean, and meals are provided (ordinary but not bad-tasting). There is also an annual bonus and annual leave. It’s a low-pay, low-workload job suitable for taking it easy until retirement.
Administrative positions do not receive overtime pay (only compensatory leave). Despite having no experience, interviewees are expected to get up to speed within a week. If there is a staff shortage, sales assistants may also be responsible for some production-related tasks, such as answering customers’ questions. There is a lack of manpower, and sales assistants even have to help with production experiments. The employees are all long-timers (although they really are quite nice).
