Video interview

Last year, an HR representative from Delta Electronics’ Zhongli Taoyuan Plant contacted me, saying they had seen my résumé on a job-search website and that it matched what they were looking for, so they arranged a video interview with me. During the video interview, there were many people present, and someone asked why I wanted to join Delta. I honestly said that I had been contacted, so I thought I would give it a try. Someone unexpectedly snickered, though. This is what happens when you don’t know how to flatter people.
