This company is extremely gossipy from top to bottom, and people really like to make up things out of thin air. Every month, you have to get up early to go to Tucheng for a meeting. There’s no travel allowance, and sometimes, after the meeting ends after 6 p.m., you still have to return to the store for another meeting—and you may not even receive overtime pay. When there’s a staff shortage, you have to run the store alone. If a customer comes in while you’re halfway through your meal, you can forget about finishing it.
