The workplace in Taichung is near City Hall, and from time to time they treat us to meals or drinks.
The workload is distributed unevenly, and you can never predict how much work there will be today. It is either very quiet or insanely busy. For the sake of meeting their performance targets, the business staff do not care whether applicants are well-qualified or not; if there is an applicant, they submit the application, leaving the assistants to clean up the mess.
Most importantly, the executive assistant at the Section 2, Wenxin Road location in Taichung has an extremely bad temper. I often see her throwing things onto other colleagues’ desks. She cannot communicate properly and always has to raise her voice at people. I felt she was very rude from the day of the interview. After officially starting work, I also discovered that she favors certain male colleagues.
Also, when someone else makes a mistake, she always loses her temper and throws things, but when she gets caught making a mistake herself, she does not say a word.
It is incredibly unlucky to work with her. If you happen to be a good-looking man, you might want to give it a try; if you are a woman, I suggest you do not put yourself through this or waste your time.
