There are many steps in the interview process:

- Online English / logic assessment

- First online interview / technical manager + two department managers (Marketing, Web3) + HR

- Second online interview / Web3 manager + two Web3 engineers

- Third call, an informal online meeting

The process was extremely long, taking two to three weeks in total. Looking at other people's responses or related comments from front-end engineers on Interview Fun, most of the reviews were negative.

After the third interview, HR called to ask about my salary expectations. Since I had other offers in hand, we agreed that they would respond within three business days. However, the response was delayed by another two days, and I ultimately received the following reply:

“Since it is currently the year-end workforce review period, the manager responsible for this position has decided to temporarily suspend recruitment. Recruitment will resume after the workforce review is complete.”

The conversations in the earlier stages had all gone fairly well. I suspect that my salary expectations did not meet theirs in the end, but using such a poor excuse to fob off an interviewee left a very bad impression overall.
