Pros

1. Three bonus payments

2. Year-end bonus

3. Overtime is uncommon; most people do not stay past 6:30 p.m.

4. Public holidays are days off

Cons

I joined in early April 2022, but I really couldn’t endure it, so I resigned...

1. The environment and atmosphere are poor. It feels like there is a lack of team spirit, and it is no different from fighting alone.

2. There is zero interaction at work. You sit at your desk and quietly get through eight hours. All day, your coworkers may not say a single word to you even when they can, and when they see you, they will only nod—or not even look at you.

3. The salary is low; they pay you the minimum.

4. There are no health checkups.

5. The laptop provided by the company is terrible. If you want a good computer, you have to spend your own money to buy one.

6. The management’s tone is extremely sarcastic. I experienced verbal bullying, and personally felt physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted.

7. If you don’t understand or can’t do something, it is all considered your own problem: your understanding is the problem, you need to change, you are the one at fault, you need to improve, and you need to figure out how to improve yourself.

8. During new employee training, the instructor speaks extremely quickly. Then, when you start practicing, they often say things like: “Wasn’t this covered in training? You forgot? Were you paying attention?”

9. They often say to you: “Why didn’t you ask first if you didn’t know how to write the program?” But when you go ask a question, they say: “Did you research this question first? Haven’t I already told you about this? Wasn’t this covered in training? Did you forget? You need to figure out how to remember it.” Eventually, you completely stop wanting to ask questions and lose your motivation.

They tell you to ask questions when you don’t know how to do something. But when you genuinely don’t know how to do it and humbly ask in a deferential manner, they then use all kinds of words to mock and berate you. So should I ask questions or not?
