No pros—before I even started working, I already encountered an unbelievable HR person.

I submitted my résumé and received a call from HR. The branch that had called previously was very far from me, so I didn’t call back.

They asked me to return the call next time I missed one, and explained that it might not necessarily be that branch that was hiring.

They also said something like, “If you don’t return the call, you’ll never have a job for the rest of your life.” It was truly unbelievable.
